Last week we went back to school with the guys over at The JD Foundation and JD Group for the first ever ‘JD UP’ event for Year 10 students.

Aimed at helping students to learn more about different career paths and building the skills to help them excel in upcoming opportunities, the event provided a unique insight into creative careers.

Throughout the day, students took part in a series of workshops led by JD employees, immersing them in various aspects of JD Group, including visual merchandising, videography, photography, social media and editing. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to take students behind the scenes of a real life campaign as we welcomed them into the activation created for the PUMA RS-X launch.

A special appearance from influencer Chunkz provided students with an inspirational boost as he spoke to them about success, motivation and how he started his career. The day culminated with a talk-show style assembly hosted by JD’s Rickey Devonish where he interviewed JD Colleagues about their career journeys from Sales Assistants to Senior Leadership.

A great day to be a part of – huge thanks to JD Group & The JD Foundation for having us.
